AgileBits is headquartered in Toronto, Ontario. They develop software applications for mobile devices. Since 2005, they have developed applications such as Knox and 1Password. They have a large team of experienced professionals who provide development and support for all applications.
1Password is a product developed by AgileBits. It provides password management and security. It gives users a place to store passwords and other sensitive information in a secure vault, protected by 2-factor authentication. They are among the most popular password managers on the market.

1Password has a variety of ways to protect your personal information online. You’ll be able to keep your sensitive data safe from hackers and still have easy access to it when needed. The following are some of our favorite 1Password password manager features.
Unlimited Storage: One of the primary features we look for in a password manager is the ability to store all of the information we have a hard time remembering. With 1Password, you have unlimited storage for not only passwords but credit cards and other personal information. From now on, you’ll only have to remember one password, instead of hundreds of them.
24/7 Email Support: If at any time, you have a question or need help with your 1Password account, you can fire off an email to support and then rest assured they’re working through the request. Their representatives check support emails 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and respond promptly with an answer.
Item Restoration: 1Password keeps a running 365-day record of your information. Even if you delete it, they can recover it, as long as you deleted it less than one year ago. That means if you make a mistake, need to restore an old account, or recover information you thought you didn’t need anymore, they can do it.
2-Factor Authentication: An extra layer of security never hurts. That’s why 1Password has 2-factor authentication for your safety and security. Your data is locked behind two walls of protection and only you can access it.

Families Plan: This plan includes the same features as the 1Password plan plus you can invite 5 guests for unlimited sharing, manage your family members, and recover accounts for family members that have been locked out. It costs $4.99 per month for up to 5 users.
Teams Plan: This plan is perfect for families larger than 5 or small businesses. It includes apps for most desktop, laptop, and mobile devices, unlimited shared vaults and item storage, 2-factor authentication, admin controls to view and manage permissions, 24/7 email support, duo integration for business-wide multi-factor authentication, 1GB document storage per person, and up to 5 guest accounts for limited sharing. It costs 3.99 per month per user.
Business Plan: This plan includes everything in the Teams Plan plus VIP support, 20 guest accounts for unlimited sharing, 5GB document storage per person, detailed access control for each vault, activity log, custom roles, usage reports, custom groups, and provisioning.

Apps for All Devices
1Password provides apps for Mac, Windows, Linux, Chrome, iOS, and Android. That means no matter how you like to get online, 1Password will be there to keep you safe. You can download the app on all of your devices and access it from wherever you are. You can take it with you to work, school, or vacation, giving you what you need all the time.
Auto Form Filler
For websites you access every day, it takes time to enter those credentials. 1Password can remember them for you, so anytime you’re online and need to enter your personal information, it recognizes that and auto fills it for you, saving you time and frustration.
Access to Watchtower
Built into your 1Password account is Watchtower, a feature that automatically checks all of your accounts to make sure they’re not compromised. For every password you have stored in your 1Password account, Watchtower will tell you as soon as something suspicious happens, keeping you even safer.
Password Generator
The password generator in your 1Password account allows you to generate and store strong, unique passwords for every account. Creating secure passwords on your own is hard enough, but remembering all of them is impossible. You can use your 1Password account to make sure everything is locked tight and out of the hands of unauthorized users.
The Bad
1Password doesn’t offer a free plan. A lot of other password managers and we missed seeing that with 1Password. However, they don’t fall short in features on the paid plans, and with a 30-day free trial, you have the peace of mind to know that if you don’t like the service, you won’t pay anything.
There’s no live chat or phone support on 1Password’s Individual and Family plans. In fact, the only plans that have dedicated support are the Business and Enterprise plans. This feature isn’t accessible to individuals or families. 1Password isn’t much different from other password managers in this respect, and we don’t feel like you’re missing out on much, especially with responsive, 24/7 email support.
The Bottom Line
The 1Password password manager gives you comprehensive coverage like 2-factor authentication, a password generator, Watchtower protection, and apps for all of your devices. Even though they don’t have a free plan or live chat and phone support, they still have more than enough features to keep you safe online.
1Password offers the basic password manager features we want with much more. It gives you excellent security with the added benefits of an easy-to-use interface and affordable plans. Plus, with things like 2-factor authentication and travel mode to protect your information when you are away from home, you’re extra protected.
