Its re-designed Autel Explorer app provides a 1080p live camera view, flight telemetry, and access to advanced settings. It uses Dynamic Track autonomously follow an object by drawing a box around the subject. The Viewpoint feature allows the drone to access a new viewpoint during flight by merely tapping on the screen of your mobile device. Selecting Orbit allows the Autel Robotics Drone to choose a point of interest and fly a perfect circle to take cinematic shots easily. The Bad
While the Autel Robotics Drone delivers a mostly flawless performance, there are a few issues that keep it from being a genuinely fantastic drone. The drone itself is without fault, but there are times when the remote tends to malfunction or not work at all. When trying to power on the controller with the LCD screen, it doesn’t always show a display, and instead, you see a black screen. This may be a minor issue for some, but this can be quite a bother for others.
Another problem that could be seen as a serious one is the fact that customer service isn’t outstanding. Trying to deal with them if you ever have questions or concerns could be a struggle at times. But if you are lucky enough not to encounter problems, then you never have to worry about talking to rude customer service personnel.
