It uses Lithium-Ion Technology & 20V MAX batteries, which make it lighter, more compact, and gives it a longer lifespan. It also has included components such as (1) LDX120 Drill/Driver, (1) LBX20 20V MAX* Lithium-Ion Battery, (1) LCS20 Charger, and (1) Double Ended Bit.
Flexible and Precise:
This cordless drill has 11 position clutches to provide precision control for all your drilling needs. Its lightweight and compact design ensure that there is less fatigue whenever you drill in confined spaces. The BLACK+DECKER 20V MAX Cordless Drill also has variable speeds that allow for countersinking without damaging the material.
The Bad
The BLACK+DECKER 20V MAX Cordless Drill may have quite a few features, but it also has quite a few flaws. Many customers have complained about how the battery only worked for a few minutes before dying — even though it’s supposed to be fully charged. While the motor kept running without a problem, the drill wouldn’t screw anything in. Unfortunately, this drill doesn’t have excellent customer support, making it difficult to return the item for a refund.
Other customers had to return this drill several times, believing it to be a defective model. Others complain about how the chuck seizes up and cannot open, which ends up disappointing many who thought this drill would be worth the $50 it costs.
The Bottom Line
In the end, the BLACK+DECKER 20V MAX Cordless Drill doesn’t deliver enough of a wow factor to stand out from the competition. Aside from costing more than other models, it doesn’t have as many features as other brands like it. And there isn’t much else it can offer to try and make up for its shortcomings.
All in all, the BLACK+DECKER 20V MAX Cordless Drill could do much better in terms of performance and customer service. Its design may be adequate and promotes pain-free use, but it isn’t able to give us the results we want for our projects. Unfortunately, this drill may not be the best pick, so we suggest to look for another drill unless you’re on a tight budget.
