The Bad
While the Hamilton Beach Classic Chrome Hand/Stand Mixer delivers on most of our expectations, it does disappoint in a few ways, such as how it came with two dough hooks but only one was correct for their beater. This leads to another flaw in their product, but more specifically their company; they wanted to have a brand new product shipped to them at the buyer’s expense all because they didn’t have a replacement hook, effectively making me do their job for them.
Also, the mixer motor can be quite weak and underpowered for mixing other things such as mashed potatoes. According to the manual, it should be able to make such kinds of foods, but instead, the motor started smoking and then stopped working altogether. For such a mundane task, we expect that this mixer would be able to deliver a fluffy batch of mashed potatoes, but sadly, this is a weakness.

Whether you’re new to the kitchen or one of the pros, the Hamilton Beach Classic Chrome Hand/Stand Mixer certainly gives a new outlook in making delicious treats. In the end, the Hamilton Beach Classic Chrome Hand/Stand Mixer makes a good attempt at giving us a Hand/Stand mixer hybrid and is capable of giving us a more dynamic way to bake our cakes and create food from scratch. And while it has committed some serious mistakes, we believe that a few corrections in its design and a commitment to improving the next iterations will eventually lead this mixer to the top of the list.
