The Char-Griller E56720 AKORN Kamado Charcoal Grill uses adjustable top and bottom dampers to maintain airflow in and out of the grill. It’s designed to make fuel-efficient so that you don’t have to use as much charcoal as you usually would. It also retains heat and maintains temperatures from 200 to 700 degrees Fahrenheit — which results in tender, juicy meat you’ll want to make on every occasion.

Its cart is constructed with tubular steel with rubber wheels, and an indexed damper which is numbered — allowing you to note the position of the damper.
The Bad
Unfortunately, the Char-Griller E56720 AKORN Kamado Charcoal Grill has severe drawbacks that leave it on the verge of not being worth the money. For $328, you would expect to get an item that functions well without any dangerous defects or issues, but this particular model may not work as advertised. The controls are flawed and can break down due to poor quality and materials used.
Not only are some components poorly-designed, but it is also a dangerous fire hazard. At one point after using it a few times, the insulation at the bottom of the grill caught fire and had to be manually put out. This indicates that the grill was not designed to withstand very high temperatures that is generated inside it. Such incidents could be worse and may lead to more severe consequences.

At its best, the Char-Griller E56720 AKORN Kamado Charcoal Grill delivers the perfect, fall-off-the-bone meat we all love and crave during parties and summers. But on the other end of the spectrum, this grill is the stuff of nightmares, and we could not recommend it even with all its excellent features.
