The Bad

While some people have complained that it runs too hot, others found that it doesn’t cook meat at all. After putting a roast into the crock pot slow cooker for at least 10 hours, none of the roasts are getting done for a family gathering. This is an especially frustrating issue, since occasions such as these demand for perfection in our food.
Another let down about this product is how it gets hairline cracks despite careful hand-washing after each use. And while it lasted for some time, the slow cooker has somehow started leaking small amounts of liquid from the cracks and into the food being cooked. As a result, it also left burn marks on the inside of the cooker and is now a fire hazard.

Crock broke on first use, contacted Crock Pot warranty and customer service. Sent pictures of crack, pictures of the serial number, and copy of the receipt. Nothing was done- they said they could not match serial number to the make/model and told me there was nothing that can be done. Basically accused me of lying and refused to talk to me.
