Our review of the GOTRAX SRX Mini Hoverboard put this hoverboard through its paces. Let’s take a look at some of the best features of the GOTRAX SRX Mini
Powerful and Compact:
Running on 150 Watts and a 25.2V battery, the GOTRAX SRX Mini Hoverboard can go for distances of up to 3 miles while keeping a speed of 6Mph per charge. Of course, don’t forget the safety first rule and always wear a helmet whenever your kids ride! It is also one of the lightest hoverboards available on the market now, weighing in at only 15lbs.
Easy to Ride:
The GOTRAX SRX Mini Hoverboard comes with a Self-Balancing mode which keeps the hoverboard and the rider platform level with the ground. This feature makes it so much easier for kids to ride it and master the SRX Mini. It also comes with a unique body — designed to have two built-in handles to make it easier to take from place to place, as well as give a one-of-a-kind look.
Designed to Impress:
Using 6.5″ wheels, the GOTRAX SRX Mini Hoverboard gives a smooth ride and makes it much easier to maneuver. And because the SRX Mini has been designed specifically for kids, it has a fun and unique body shape. It’s also available in 4 awesome color combinations, so there are more styles for your kids to choose from!
While the GOTRAX SRX Mini Hoverboard has made a great attempt to deliver a decent quality for its customers, it is plagued by one problem, in particular, that is too big to dismiss. One customer reported that while their children enjoyed playing and using the product, the battery has stopped being able to hold a charge, and it had stopped working after only eight months. When they attempted to call customer service to get a fix, they were told that the replacement batteries would cost $70 for a product that is supposed to last two years. Of course, these kinds of issues shouldn’t be taken lightly but judging from their unresponsiveness, we can only guess at the quality of these hoverboards.
