Worst company ever. Horrible! DO NOT get your extended warranty from this company. I purchased a policy for my wife’s car as Toyota only covered until 100,000 miles as we know that anything can happen to a car. After all is a mechanical machine. Long story short, my wife’s car starts experiencing issues with one of the transmission gear. So I called Liberty Bell Auto to find out what we needed to do. They told me to take it to any shop to get it evaluated and they would talk to the shop to arrange the fix. I went to 3 shop and explain to them that I needed an estimate and Liberty Bell Auto would pay for it. No shop in Florida would take these type of companies because they never pay. The dealer is your only option. So I went to the dealer to find out what was wrong with my wife’s car… They found out that the one of the transmission gear was spiking. Once Liberty Bell Auto found out how much it was going to cost them, they came up with an excuse stating that my mechanical problem was a pre-existing problem. My policy had passed the trial periods and we even drove it for almost 2,000 miles pass the miles that the car had when we got the policy. If the shifting problem was a pre-existing condition, we would had not been able to drive the car for almost 2,000. Long story short… STAY AWAY FROM THESE THIEF. Once they find out how much they have to pay for your repairs, they will find any excuse not to pay. Don’t even bother dealing with them. The dealer even told me… they are not gonna want to pay once we tell them how much it will cost. Sure enough, they came up with a lame excuse. I would give zero stars but google wont let me. Do your research and go with a company well known nation wide. Don’t do like me… for trying to save a few bucks, we got dealt a bad hand. FYI… the transmission did not fail completely so you are full of it. One gear was having problems and the car was still in driving conditions. No worries, I will use another reputable company and will certainly make sure no one gets a policy from your company. You are not hurting me because the repair at a reputable transmission shop $900, cheaper than what I would had paid with you for two year to then learn that no one wants to take companies like yours because either you never pay, go the cheap route to save money for your company. Lesson learned for me. I have already complained at BBB as well.

October 23, 2019The customer submitted a claim for a Pre-existing condition just 5 days after his policy came in to effect (1000 miles AND 30 Days to activate the policy).We have denied his claim for following reason.
Our Extended Auto Warranty does not cover any pre-existing conditions in a vehicle. According to our claims department/mechanical shop inspection and diagnosis, transmission system would not simply fail with in 5 days from the policy activation. So his claim is not consistent with our auto warranty policy guidelines and coverage terms.
As per his request, we have already cancelled and refunded his full payment. Liberty Bell Auto Protect wants to maintain the highest level of customer satisfaction and transparency in a claims process.

My wife purchased a warranty after she had to buy a used vehicle when hers was totaled from an accident. We finally had to use the warranty 6 months later and we were informed that because of a Technical service bulletin from the manufacturer the engine was not covered. She purchased the top of the line warranty and was denied just because of the bulletin. You would think that liberty bell would have know this when she gave them the VIN number, yet i was told they would not know this right away and they are covered from not paying this because this was in the contract, that all technical service bulletins clause was in the contract. we were given no options except to eat the cost. Why get the warranty. Do not use them they are a shame.

BUT, when it’s time to the claim, you will see how s***** they are.
I got their highest available contract(which it’s supposed to cover everything and they were comparing it to actual manufacturer warranty) and I paid full up front.
After a couple of months My camshaft adjuster which is part of engine (engine and transmission is part of even the most basic contract that every single extended warranty company offer) went bad, I took it to the dealer they told me it going to cost me $8,500 to fix it and they call these people and they just approved $300, can you believe the s***????
Then I start to shop around for the third party shops, and I found a shop which they were willing to do the same job for only $2,900, they still didn’t approve the claim for full. And the reason was this is a special part, didn’t they know what car am I getting extended warranty for???
The shortest story about this shady company is, they try to get your business and give you a feeling that you got a really good deal and charge you all up front, and they are hoping nothing going to go bad with your car and if it does they will try to lowball it, and if you be aggressive towards them like what I did, they will try to give You a courtesy approval A little more than what they approved initially (in my case was $300 for a $8,500 reaper), and at the end they will try to give you partial refund of your money back and they will have you sign a waiver to do not file any complaint or sue them because of their misbehavior.
If you want to go through this hell that I went with these people, feel free to waste your time and money on this shady company. And have a fake piece of hope that your car has extended warranty!!!!

Purchased the Platinum Prime for my vehicle, took my car to the dealership to be diagnosed. The dealership pointed out the issue and asked if I had a extended warranty on the car. The dealership called Liberty Bell Auto, explained the issue, and Liberty Bell denied the repair, claiming it was apart of the wear and tear. The service advisor pointed out that its not a wear and tear item, and its only replaced or serviced if there is mechanical issues to that part. My advisor pointed out that he was shocked that they denied the claim, and it is covered by most extended warranties.
I remember clearly the associate who sold me the plan, was doing everything to get the sale during my phone call. Even coming down by hundreds of dollars from the original quote if I signed up that day. Which I took the bait and now I realize, I made a mistake. Clearly its about making the sale, rather than providing a service.
Funny enough, when the rubber hits the road, as with all ‘extended warranties’, when the time comes to pay up for repairs, they will deny the repair.
Please be vigilant about the ‘reviews’ on Google and other review sites about their 5 star rating.

I have to tell you something… Being a minister who believes in truth, it really pains me to see the one star reviews for Liberty Bell, when this company is rated one of the best and deserves more than that! ESPECIALLY when some think this company is set up to scam. Farthest from the truth in our experience and that is all we can speak from, our experience!
I feel if you’re looking for an extended warranty company, you have come to the right place. “LIBERTY BELL!” AND for the record – I AM A REAL CUSTOMER, not some paid bot, or keyboard warrior that writes positive reviews for sport. (Feel free to contact me directly if you have doubts.) We have been very happy customers for over a year and a half now. But here is our experience (and two cents) with this company…
Before I share our experience and why we are ga ga for Liberty Bell… If you have an older car like us, anything can happen. It’s scary buying a used car, or owning a car that has become a senior! So why gamble and not get an extended warranty when it could cost you thousands to fix. All I know, had we had Liberty Bell in our corner, when our first 2006 Cayenne S died on us from an extensive oil leak that went under the drivers seat, we may still have this car today. It should have gone well over 250K miles. We were the original owners and we loved and babied that car and I cried when it was towed off. It only had 135K miles on it. I never thought I would see another Titanium Package like this one again.
I remembered seeing the commercials from another major extended warranty company after the fact (I don’t need to name names) wishing I had known of them prior. So it was a no-brainer that an extended warranty was definitely something we needed with our second Porsche, and we were NOT going to make the same mistake twice. Unfortunately, shortly after contacting this other company, we felt as if we were being sought after like a piece of meat, the phone ringing off the hook from what felt like a ‘televised car stalker of extended warranties,’ breathing down our necks, feeling this other company would say anything and everything to get our business. I am not sure how we stumbled across LIBERTY BELL, but we were sure happy we did and have been ever since. I don’t say this about the other company to be disrespectful. I think it’s important to note the difference in companies and what led us to buy from Liberty Bell. Liberty Bell NEVER made us feel like our skin was crawling every time the phone rang, and Frank, our sales person, was stellar and respectful in every way. Look – I believe when there is a company that takes care of it’s customers, you take care of that company. It’s a two way street and that is why I am writing this review. Since owning our second (used) 2006 Cayenne S, we have had two issues come up in the short time owning her and thank God for my sales guy Frank and his team who pulled through for us and put us at ease. BOTH TIMES! These two fixes were not cheap. But Frank is the bomb and for many reasons. He just doesn’t sell you a contract and send you on your way. He cares about you and takes the time to build a relationship with you which is the key to good service. The second time around, Joe and Jason got involved on a recent issue we had with our Porsche and they were not only professional, but went above and beyond the call of service and took care of us and my sweet Cayenne S we call “Chocolate.”
